WMS Section Head

We are looking for a Warehouse Management system Section head to oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth workflow across receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and returns processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving:

Supervise incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders in the system.

Ensure all received goods are recorded in WMS and assigned Tracking IDs.

Prepare and submit daily receiving reports to the line manager.

2. Put away (Storage):

Direct the warehouse team to store goods in designated locations using WMS guidance.

Ensure organized storage following the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.

Monitor available storage capacity and report potential shortages.

3. Picking (Order Preparation):

Generate picking orders from the system and distribute tasks to the team.

Oversee accurate and timely product collection using barcode scanners.

Resolve any issues during the picking process such as stock discrepancies.

4. Shipping:

Verify all prepared orders are scanned correctly and loaded onto trucks.

Cross-check shipping data in the system against actual orders to prevent errors.

Prepare and organize all necessary shipping documents.

5. Returns Management:

Receive and inspect returned shipments.

Coordinate with the Customer Service team to handle return-related issues.

6. Reporting & Analysis:

Track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, preparation time, and error rates.

Submit detailed daily and weekly operational reports to management.

Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements.

7. Team Management:

Assign daily tasks based on workload and staff experience.

Provide ongoing on-the-job training and ensure proper system usage.

Motivate team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
