Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Meticulously interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine precise welding requirements for each project, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design.
- Execute various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, on diverse materials like steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, achieving flawless welds.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds, utilizing visual examination and measurement tools, to guarantee structural integrity and meet quality standards.
- Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and positioning components, ensuring optimal weld penetration and fusion.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to coordinate welding activities and ensure seamless project execution.
