Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of complex web applications, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications are accessible across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Perform code reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior developers to maintain high code quality and standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to proactively incorporate best practices into development processes.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing applications, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a robust documentation framework for code, design specifications, and development processes for future reference.
  • Mentor junior developers and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, protecting user data and maintaining application integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  3. Proven expertise in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, as well as back-end technologies such as Node.js or Django.
  4. Experience with database management systems, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data handling and retrieval.
  5. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support scalable web applications.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, for effective collaboration and code management.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to analyze complex issues and devise innovative solutions.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  10. Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development in web technologies.
