WAREHOUSING OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR asyad

Role Objective:

To lead daily operations of the warehouse and distribution fleet, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of goods. The Supervisor manages warehouse staff, trucks, and drivers, ensuring bonded and non-bonded goods are received, stored, and delivered to clients in line with SLAs and regulatory requirements.

Strategic:

Warehouse OperationsSupervise daily inbound, storage, and outbound operations.Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock rotation, and FIFO.Monitor warehouse utilization and resource allocation.Distribution OperationsPlan and supervise last-mile deliveries for cold chain and dry goods.Assign trucks/drivers, monitor utilization, and enforce safety/compliance standards.Track delivery performance through Fero TMS and ensure on-time dispatch.Escalate operational issues to the Warehousing Operations Manager.Bonded Goods ManagementEnsure strict compliance with bonded warehouse and bonded distribution regulations.Maintain custody and accountability of high-value goods (alcohol, tobacco, energy drinks).Ensure all bonded movements have the correct customs paperwork and duty clearance.Support audits and respond to authority inspections.Team LeadershipSupervise warehouse operators, drivers, and customer service specialists.Set daily work schedules, monitor productivity, and review outputs.Coach team members on bonded handling, cold chain integrity, and safety practices.Support onboarding/training of new staff.Reporting & KPIsSubmit daily/weekly reports: warehouse utilization, delivery KPIs, bonded compliance, driver performance.Monitor cost efficiency (fuel, truck utilization, overtime).Ensure all operational data is accurately logged in WMS and TMS.Education & Qualifications:

Diploma/bachelor’s in supply chain management.Minimum 4 years of work experience of a bachelor holder and 8 years’ of work experience for a Diploma year holder in operations warehousing in a supervisory position. Understand matters on warehousing, road, sea, and air transportation documentation. Regional (Middle East & Africa) experience. 

Functional

Warehouse Management Software (WMS) experience is a plusA good understanding of operating forklifts and their attachmentsHave good arithmetic skillsUnderstand financial reports relating to warehouse operations
