Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse supervisors oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse.




Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity such as allocation report for invoicing, for loading, etc.

Update stock control reports on a daily basis.

Monitoring of stock expiry frame and sorting them by batches.

Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials (Physical and systematic).

Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy on a daily basis.

Checking and closing daily van stock inventory.

Coordinate with fleet team on dispatching their daily orders on time as well as sales team.

Controlling of dispatchment and deliveries by sales orders (physical and systematic).

Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.

Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.

Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.

Communicating and coordinating with other departments.

Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities (receiving, records, stock storing)

Continuous improvement is needed in terms of problem solving and warehouse staff.

Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Coordinate with the line manager for daily orders, requests, needs.



Requirements:

Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred


Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

Ability to manage inventory

Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data
