Warehouse Supervisor TRANSCORP INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS L.L.C

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations for a leading e-commerce client. This role involves managing daily activities, leading a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and expertise in warehouse and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate order processing to meet delivery SLAs.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and resolve bottlenecks.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Ensure timely replenishment of stock while minimizing shortages and overstocking.
• Identify and address discrepancies in inventory, implementing corrective measures.

Team Management:

• Supervise, lead, and mentor warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and loaders.
• Develop shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, review performance, and address challenges.
• Provide training to team members on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and productivity standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance and engagement.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Monitor and address issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures across warehouse processes.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce compliance with workplace safety protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance metrics.
• Track KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time processing.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in e-commerce or logistics.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in managing inventory control and order fulfillment processes.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
