Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and verify that all purchase orders for stock items are requested when the item reaches the agreed order limit.
Review the point of re-order every 3 months for stock items
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
Supervising the organisation and always maintaining the stock and storage area
Review the point of re-request every 3 months
Review the inventory daily and ensure that items do not reach the point of return
Make a random inventory of all stores during the month.
Ensure that stock processing and disbursement processes are accurate, commensurate with the business need
Checking the quantities required by the departments and reducing them if any unjustified request has been made
Oversee and monitor the duties of daily store secretaries and workers and determine and evaluate their levels
Follow up with the procurement department for items that have not been supplied - Carrying out training and qualification of warehouse personnel to help them perform the tasks required of them.
Interacting with all departments to solve problems that belong to the work that they direct.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
Past Hospitals Experience is a must.
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Have commercial awareness with positive behaviour, integrity and commitment
