Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Inventory management:
- Perform physical inventories and reconcile them with system data to ensure accuracy.
- Manage inventory control procedures to avoid discrepancies and report any anomalies.
- Reception and dispatch:
- Oversee the reception of incoming materials and ensure they are checked for quality and compliance with purchase orders.
- Coordinate the storage of goods in an organized manner to facilitate access.
- Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Op rations d entrep t :
- Ensure the proper functioning of the warehouse.
- Implement and follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout to optimize efficiency and space utilization.
- Team coordination:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Documentation and reports:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping and receiving.
- Regularly generate reports on inventory status, warehouse performance and other key indicators.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Service client :
- Process and resolve issues related to order discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
- Liaise with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to address customer needs and concerns.
- Handling and equipment:
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to ensure proper working order and identify maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams or external service providers to ensure timely repairs and troubleshooting in the event of a breakdown.
- Supervise the proper handling of materials, from reception to storage to order preparation, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Waste management and sustainability:
- Ensure that different types of waste are properly sorted and disposed of in accordance with sustainability protocols.
- Supervise the disposal and destruction of obsolete packaging in order to optimize storage capacity, in coordination with the QHSE manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
You are a graduate with training in logistics, supply chain management or a related field. You have proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role./p>
