Warehouse Stock Control Supervisor (Retail)

The Warehouse Stock Control Supervisor in a retail environment is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, stock movement, and coordination between warehouse and retail operations. This role ensures that all stock is properly received, stored, recorded, and distributed in alignment with company standards and retail needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the stock control team within the warehouse

Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel

Ensure timely receiving, labeling, and storing of retail products

Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical stocktaking processes

Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and variances

Coordinate with retail branches, purchasing, and logistics to ensure stock availability and accuracy

Ensure stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and proper product handling

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports

Train team members on stock handling procedures and system updates

Enforce safety, hygiene, and inventory control standards in the warehouse



Requirements:

Previous experience in warehouse or stock control roles in the retail industry

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and WMS software

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment
