Warehouse Manager Chandran Gurukkal Ayurvedic Clinic

The Warehouse Manager will oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations at the hub located in Umm Al Quwain (UAQ), UAE. This role ensures efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of fitness equipment and supplements arriving from multiple international factories and delivered across the GCC. The Warehouse Manager will implement industry‑standard WMS processes, enforce safety and compliance practices, optimize space and inventory flow, maintain service quality, and ensure high operational discipline aligned with the Group’s logistics and customer fulfillment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound Logistics & Receiving Management - Coordinate inbound shipments from factories across different countries. - Oversee documentation, customs clearance coordination, and GRN (Goods Received Note) process. - Ensure accurate unloading, verification, inspection, and tagging of all received goods. - Maintain discrepancies reporting and vendor communication for shortages/damages.

2. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control - Implement and manage an efficient Warehouse Management System (WMS). - Set up inventory control processes: cycle counts, stock audits, batch/serial tracking. - Optimize storage layout using industry standards for racking, zoning, and space utilization. - Ensure proper handling of large/heavy fitness equipment using appropriate MHE. - Maintain accurate real-time inventory levels and reporting dashboards.

3. Order Processing & Outbound Delivery Management - Oversee order picking, packing, staging, and dispatch for customers across GCC. - Ensure dispatch accuracy, timely delivery coordination, and route scheduling. - Work with logistics partners, transporters, and installation teams. - Maintain delivery documentation, PODs, and customer service interaction for dispatch issues.

4. Health, Safety & Compliance - Implement HSE standards, warehouse safety protocols, and PPE usage. - Ensure safe equipment handling, fire safety compliance, and regular risk assessments. - Maintain incident reporting, corrective actions, and emergency response readiness.

5. Process Improvement & WMS Implementation - Lead digitization of warehouse operations using WMS tools. - Develop SOPs for inbound, storage, outbound, and returns processes. - Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Establish KPIs such as picking accuracy, receiving efficiency, order cycle time, and storage utilization.

6. People Management & Vendor Coordination - Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, conduct training, and ensure discipline. - Manage external vendors: MHE providers, 3PL partners, maintenance contractors. - Conduct periodic team performance reviews.
