Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

Ensure proper space utilization, material stacking, and inventory organization.

Implement efficient systems for inbound and outbound logistics.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse at all times.

Monitor stock levels and ensure accuracy of physical vs. system inventory.

Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

Coordinate with procurement and production for material requirements and availability.

Supervise warehouse staff (storekeepers, operators, helpers, etc.).

Assign daily tasks and monitor performance and attendance.

Train and motivate staff on warehouse procedures and safety practices.

Promote teamwork and maintain a disciplined work environment.

Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of hazardous materials (if applicable).

Conduct periodic safety inspections and fire drills.

Maintain compliance with ISO / 5S / EHS standards as applicable.

Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry into ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS).

Coordinate with finance for stock valuation and audits.

Optimize manpower, space, and equipment utilization.

Identify and implement improvements in warehouse layout and workflow.

Reduce material handling time, losses, and damage.

Control logistics and storage costs within budget.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 5 8 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics.

Preferably Have strong Experiance instrong yarn And Accessories.

Hands-on experience with ERP / WMS systems.

Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques and warehouse processes.

Familiarity with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallets, etc.).

Good understanding of documentation, stock audits, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
