Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, supervision, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain and oversee the use of warehouse management systems and related technologies.
  • Handle the resolution of discrepancies, damaged goods, and customer complaints related to warehouse operations.
  • Plan and manage warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare operational reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
