Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of all types of wood, ensure accurate inventory control, maintain quality and safety standards, and reduce losses through proper planning and supervision.
- Verify quantities and specifications of received wood materials.
- Supervise organized and safe storage of all wood types.
- Implement coding and classification systems for various wood types.
- Manage daily inbound and outbound wood transactions and update records accurately.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and analyze inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor issue orders and distribute wood to workshops or production lines.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and fire prevention standards.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff.
- Prepare daily and weekly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Coordinate with management to plan future wood material requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Logistics, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 7 years in managing wood or construction material warehouses.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP inventory systems.
- Knowledge of wood types and correct storage methods.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
