Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and accurately recording receipt of goods in the inventory management system.
  • Support inventory management activities, including stock counting, cycle counting, and reconciliation of physical inventory with system records to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping activities, ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment of customer orders and adherence to shipping schedules.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including arranging stock in designated storage areas, labelling shelves, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following safety protocols and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to warehouse activities, including receiving reports, packing list, inventory records, and stock movement logs.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow efficiency, minimize errors, and improve productivity in warehouse operations.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements in warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor to support the overall objectives of the warehouse and the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operation and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage blue-collar staff.
  • Basics of computer skills.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols, and procedures, with basic awareness with 5S.
  • ERP Knowledge.
