Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Safety Compliance

  • Understand and apply Aramco HSE standards
  • Ensure Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and LOTO procedures are followed
  • Wear correct PPE and guide others in safety protocols

| 2. Permit Handling |

  • Receive, review, and validate work permits (hot work, confined space, electrical, excavation)
  • Communicate with permit issuers and LPD
  • Display permits at job sites

| 3. Site Inspection & Readiness |

  • Conduct pre-job walkthroughs
  • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are Aramco-approved
  • Confirm gas testing (LEL, H2S, O2) where required

| 4. Work Coordination |

  • Liaise between contractors, supervisors, and safety officers
  • Coordinate timing and access for multiple crews working under a permit
  • Monitor progress to ensure work is done within permit validity

| 5. Emergency Protocols |

  • Understand emergency evacuation plans
  • Report unsafe acts or near misses immediately
  • Suspend work if conditions become unsafe

Desired Candidate Profile

  • ✅ Valid WAP (Work Authorization Permit) Certificate issued by Saudi Aramco
  • ✅ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in oil & gas or industrial projects under Aramco operations
  • ✅ Hands-on knowledge of permit-to-work systems including Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Excavation, Electrical Isolation, and LOTO
  • ✅ Proven ability to coordinate with Aramco supervisors, safety officers, and subcontractors
  • ✅ Strong understanding of Aramco HSE standards, JSAs, and LPD protocols
  • ✅ Good communication and reporting skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)
  • ✅ Physically fit and alert — able to work in shutdowns, remote sites, or high-risk zones
  • ✅ Must possess a valid Iqama, Aramco SAP number, and be transferable
  • ✅ Prior experience in scaffolding, welding, mechanical, civil, or E&I maintenance is an added advantage
  • ✅ Immediate availability preferred
