Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, direct and establish the communication platform to support the F&I Directorate, including a yearly plan for all communication activities.
- Lead on strategy and planning, and providing guidance, advice and support on both equity and debt related transactions.
- As required, provides strategic guidance and support to the Group s listed companies, offering Group-level advice on strategies and material releases.
- Propose and guide media outreach and external conference support for the F&I Directorate.
- Manage and develop F&I related communication strategy for the company and contribute to its implementation throughout the company. Execute and enable all relevant initiatives, processes and deliveries of this strategy
- As appropriate and related to F&I, lead on the origination, screening and delivery of strategic direction and content of company sponsored events and conferences, including selection of the right level of participants, in close cooperation with the Company s business directorates, ensuring that Company s overall business goals are fully supported by the GC&CSR.
- Work in close cooperation with senior leadership at Group to identify and develop issues and projects that support and leverage the Company s growth strategy.
- Work in close cooperation with stakeholders to develop and track key relationships in order to support GC&CSR and other business directorates.
- Lead selected program-based special projects that require cross-functional engagement with other key senior management staff across the Group, including relevant external stakeholders in order to achieve the organisational objectives.
- Lead the planning of own projects in order to scope the project, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and develop timelines in order to facilitate accurate completion of projects.
- Manage scripting of targeted and innovative storytelling and stakeholder engagement strategies and content to support the business in delivering reliable, accurate and influential messages to the desired target audience.
- Lead, motivate and mentor a team of communication professionals proactively positioning the Company across international, regional and local media markets.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
- 18 years of professional experience in progressive and more senior-level roles in communications. Preferably experience in a large-scale organisation with complex business operations or experience working in various industries. At least 10 years in a managerial / supervisory position.
- Direct experience of equity and dept market transactions and listed company financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of External communications methodologies and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of public relations strategy development and implementation, and ability to devise strategies that drive business results.
- Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working and lead change.
- Knowledge of the Group s operations and various sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored Financial communication strategies in line with specific business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
