Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and prepare 2D/3D models and machining programs using software such as Mastercam, SurfMill, ArtCAM, and AutoCAD. Generate toolpaths, G-code, and simulations for VMC machines. Operate and monitor VMC machines for precision manufacturing. Handle machine setup, tool selection, workpiece clamping, and program loading. Perform quality checks on machined parts using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.). Troubleshoot issues with programming, tooling, and machining. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of machines. Collaborate with production/design team to meet project requirements. Maintain documentation of designs, programs, and production records.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as a VMC Designer & Operator. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SurfMill, ArtCAM, AutoCAD 2D & 3D). Experience in operating 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis VMC machines. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & technical documents. Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds & speeds, and machining parameters. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under deadlines and produce high-quality results.
