Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Videography
Produce engaging videos that reflect the brand's identity and enhance the customer experience through storytelling and creative visual techniques.
Oversee all aspects of video production, including planning, filming, lighting, audio management, editing, producing, maintaining the technical quality of footage and ensure its alignment with Gulf Air s brand guidelines and standards.
Operate professional cameras, utilising modern and traditional videography equipment and ensuring all equipment is maintained, organised, and up to date.
Archive and catalog video footage, maintaining a comprehensive digital library for easy access and retrieval.
Develop and implement innovative video techniques, including colour correction, lighting, motion graphic, sound design, voice over management, music selection and editing processes to enhance final outputs.
Proficiency with working with animations and CGIs.
Capture high-quality video content for various projects
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos
Collaborate with the team to develop video concepts that are in consistency with overarching campaigns and the department s strategy.
Keep a track of video metrics and key performance indicators, such as the number of views, likes, shares, and conversions.
Ability to create out-of-the-box conceptualisation, scriptwriting, and storyboards development.
Prepare multiple formats, templates and versions as required for digital platforms, social media, paid ads, and large-screen displays.
Knowledge of AI technology for generation and prompting videos.
Ensure all content upholds Gulf Air s tone of voice, visual identity, and premium positioning.
Keep updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in video technology to continually elevate the quality of video content.
Explore continuous improvement opportunities in workflow and creative strategies to maximize production efficiency and quality.
Ensure all video content adheres to Gulf Air brand guidelines, copyright requirements, and aviation industry standards.
Coordinate with external production agencies and freelancers when required.
Photography
Professionally plan and efficiently execute a complete photoshoot session.
Capture professional-grade photographs across various categories:
Aircraft interiors and exteriors
Lounges, airport operations, and inflight service
Cabin crew, pilots, and staff portraits
Campaign lifestyle shoots (destinations, onboard experience, hospitality elements)
Onboard products, food & beverage, and amenities
Execute standard photography operations including image editing techniques and procedural guidelines to ensure high-quality outputs.
Archive and organise photographic materials and maintain a comprehensive image library, including archiving, tagging, and cataloguing assets.
Enhance image quality and lighting techniques, composition, styling, and framing to ensure compliance with industry standards and Gulf Air s visual directions.
Edit and retouch photos to ensure brand consistency, colour accuracy, and premium quality.
Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring it is organised, up-to-date, and in excellent working condition.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and creative solutions to enhance overall image quality.
Ensures studio output exceeds industry standards and expectations.
Ability to arrange props, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications
Support the creative team with visual concepts, shot lists and mood boards for campaigns.
Prepare multiple formats for print, digital, social media, PR usage, and large-format applications.
Coordinate shoots with internal departments, cabin crew, airport operations, and external partners.
Ensure usage rights, model releases, and copyright compliance where applicable.
Knowledge of AI technology for generation, editing and prompting images.
Keep updated on best practices in photography to ensure the successful delivery of creative content.
Shoot in challenging environments (aircraft cabins, low light, dynamic surroundings, short duty travels, etc.).
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Web Media, Film Directing, Visual Design, communication, or an equivalent major in the related field with a minimum experience of 2 years in the related field.
