Roles & Responsibilities

Department Definition

Implement the Visual Arts curriculum of the Ministry of Education in accordance with the educational policies, regulations, and systems in force in the country; enhance students skills to achieve international standards; and create an engaging environment to develop a well-rounded personality.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and semester plans for the subject according to content and performance standards for Visual Arts.
  • Prepare a weekly plan based on content standards and learning outcomes for Visual Arts, specifying classroom and extracurricular activities, and implement it.
  • Design and prepare various tests and examinations for the subject, evaluate and measure student performance, analyze results for improvement, and complete evaluation and documentation tasks accurately and on time according to established procedures.
  • Design and implement comprehensive remedial plans for low-performing students and enrichment plans for gifted and outstanding students in coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Engage in self-development and professional growth

Requirements for Expatriates:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor s Degree in Visual Arts / Architecture / Interior Design / Graphic Design
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Minimum of 3 years for those without a teaching license
  • Minimum of 2 years for those holding a teaching license
  • Age must not exceed 55 years
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in its applications
  • Provide an IELTS Academic score of 5.0 or an EmSAT score of 1100 or higher for all subjects taught in Arabic for non-native English speakers within 6 months of appointment
  • Must obtain a teaching license within the first two years from the start date
