Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct daily van sales routes, efficiently managing time and resources to maximize sales opportunities in assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing concerns promptly to foster loyalty.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Prepare and present product demonstrations to clients, highlighting key features and benefits that align with their specific needs.
- Manage inventory levels within the van, ensuring that products are stocked appropriately and that expired or damaged items are removed promptly.
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with customers, balancing profitability with competitive pricing to secure repeat business.
- Utilize mobile technology and software to track sales, manage customer information, and report daily activities accurately.
- Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure promotional materials and products are available for effective sales presentations.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions, contributing ideas and feedback to improve sales strategies and product offerings.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in a van sales or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, showcasing strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Familiarity with route planning and logistics to optimize sales efficiency and customer reach.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.
- Strong technical skills in using mobile sales applications and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with diverse clientele and building lasting relationships.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move products, ensuring efficient loading and unloading during sales activities.
