Job Description

As a Van Sales Executive in the Food Trading industry, you will be at the forefront of our company's sales strategy, driving sales and fostering strong relationships with our valued clients. Operating predominantly from a van, this role demands exceptional communication and sales skills, as well as the capability to efficiently manage your sales route. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a variety of food products to retail outlets, restaurants, and other potential customers. As a brand ambassador, you are expected to uphold our company's values and deliver excellent customer service. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of our business in the competitive food trading market.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory.
  • Manage existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute daily sales routes to maximize efficiency and sales potential.
  • Present and sell company products to current and potential customers effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements to achieve win-win outcomes for all parties.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs and product requests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers using company van.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to team goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
