The Van Sales Assistant plays a critical role in driving sales growth by managing the direct delivery of products to clients across designated routes. This role involves working closely with the sales team to ensure that products are delivered efficiently and effectively, while also building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. In addition to delivering goods, the Van Sales Assistant will be responsible for increasing sales at each stop by identifying customer needs, suggesting products, and ensuring that clients are satisfied with the service provided. This position requires a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of multitasking successfully. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail, as well as a thorough understanding of sales and customer service best practices. The role also demands physical stamina, as it includes the loading and unloading of goods.

• Drive the company van responsibly and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote repeat business.
• Load and unload products from the van with care and attention.
• Keep accurate records of sales and deliver products as per invoice details.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations to increase sales.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the delivery van.
• Handle cash transactions and manage money efficiently and securely.
• Communicate effectively with the sales team and relay any client feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security requirements in transit.
• Assist in planning delivery routes for efficiency and time management.
• Manage inventory levels in the van and reorder products as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and solve any issues that may arise.

• Proven experience in a sales or delivery role with customer interaction.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 2 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle clients well.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and handling cash transactions securely.
