ob Description:
We are seeking an experienced Valve and Pump Technician with advanced expertise in a wide range of valve types and pump systems. The successful candidate will be skilled in maintenance, repair, overhaul, testing, and commissioning of valves and pumps in applications such as oil & gas, water treatment, power generation, and industrial facilities.

Valve Expertise:

• Skilled in working with control valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, pressure reducing valves, ball valves, and plug valves.
• Experience in valve dismantling, cleaning, lapping, grinding, and reassembly.
• Familiarity with actuated valves (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric) including calibration and actuator troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, and ISO standards for valve inspection and testing.
• Ability to perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of valves in accordance with specifications.
• Capability to identify and replace worn seats, seals, packing, gaskets, stems, and discs.
• Experience in in-line valve maintenance without system shutdown when required.

Pump Expertise:

• Installation, alignment, and repair of centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, screw pumps, and submersible pumps.
• Mechanical seal replacement, bearing changes, and impeller balancing.
• Troubleshooting vibration, leakage, and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of valves and pumps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and sealing system faults.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support commissioning of new valve and pump installations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial valve and pump maintenance.
• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related trade.
• Strong knowledge of valve internals, pump systems, and actuator mechanisms.
• Ability to read P&IDs, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with offshore and onshore safety procedures is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in oil & gas, desalination plants, refineries, or water treatment plants.
• Knowledge of hazardous area equipment and safety procedures.
