Utilities Manager

Main mission:

Ensure the availability, performance and reliability of all industrial utilities necessary for the operation of the semolina mill (electricity, steam, compressed air, water, industrial refrigeration, effluent treatment, etc.) by guaranteeing the continuity of supply to the production lines, energy optimization, safety of the installations and compliance with agri-food, quality and environmental standards.

Main tasks and activities:

Manage the operation and maintenance of the semolina mill's utility installations (boilers, air compressors, refrigeration units, water networks, electricity, treatment plants, etc.).

Plan and monitor preventive, corrective and curative maintenance operations to ensure the continuity of milling and packaging processes.

Ensure the permanent availability of fluids and energy necessary for the proper functioning of semolina and flour production lines.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to energy consumption and facility availability.

Identify, propose and implement continuous improvement actions (reduction of energy costs, optimization of equipment, modernization of installations).

Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, quality and environmental standards, particularly in relation to agri-food standards (HACCP, ISO 22000).

Participate in the design and implementation of investment projects relating to utilities (installation of new lines, modernization or extension of the mill).

Supervise, train and develop the skills of technical teams to ensure a high level of reliability and performance.

Management Support:

Provide regular reports on utility availability, consumption and costs.

Propose energy optimization and cost reduction plans.

Contribute to the development of the technical and energy budget.

Advise management on technical investment choices.

Participate in internal and external audits (quality, HSE, energy).

Profile

Technical skills:

Mastery of production processes and distribution of utilities (electricity, steam, water, compressed air, cold, etc.).

Solid knowledge of industrial maintenance and technical project management.

Good understanding of regulations related to energy, safety and the environment.

Ability to analyze consumption data and identify optimization levers.

Behavioral skills:

Analytical mind, strength of proposal and results orientation.

Good interdepartmental communication and collaboration skills

Minimum 5 to 10 years in a similar position or in maintenance/operation of industrial utilities.

Bac +5 in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics or equivalent

Good command of computer software and CMMS tools.

Fluency in French (technical English desirable).
