Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for urological procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process, including explaining the procedure and answering any questions.
  • Operate specialized urological equipment, such as cystoscopes, urodynamic testing devices, and laser systems, maintaining them for optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist physicians during various urological examinations and treatments, anticipating their needs and providing necessary instruments and supplies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Urology Technician (CUT) or a similar credential is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a urology clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Experience with a variety of urological procedures, including cystoscopy, urodynamics, and prostate biopsies is beneficial.
