Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Design and develop a mobile application with AR capabilities.

Implement surface detection and extraction (walls, floors, ceilings, etc.) using ARKit, ARCore, or similar frameworks.

Develop pipelines to convert detected surfaces into 2D images, meshes, or texture maps.

Integrate computer vision / deep learning models for segmentation and classification of surfaces.

Build APIs or pipelines to feed extracted surface data into external ML models for various use cases.

Optimize app performance for real-time surface detection and visualization.

Collaborate with product/design teams to ensure seamless user experience.

Document processes, pipelines, and architecture for scalability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

Strong experience in mobile app development (Flutter).

Hands-on experience with ARKit (iOS) or ARCore (Android) for plane/surface detection.

Strong background in computer vision and 3D geometry (OpenCV, Open3D, COLMAP, or similar).

Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) for segmentation and scene understanding.

Familiarity with 3D rendering tools/libraries (Unity, Three.js, or Blender APIs).

Strong understanding of camera calibration, depth sensing, and structure-from-motion techniques.

Ability to design real-time pipelines that run efficiently on mobile hardware.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with LiDAR integration on iOS devices.

Background in indoor mapping, robotics, or AR/VR applications.

Experience with cloud-based processing pipelines (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Prior work with texture unwrapping, 3D reconstruction, or mesh optimization.
