Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- ensure timely and accurate delivery by managing pricing reviews and aligning with business objectives and profitability targets to maximize product success and financial outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive actuarial pricing activities, such as experience analysis, business planning, and pricing reviews by collaborating with actuarial teams, ensuring accurate and data-driven insights to support well-informed decision-making and optimal pricing strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling for large portfolios and transactions, addressing ambiguity by utilizing analytical tools and frameworks to provide valuable insights for management s strategic decisions.
- Foster professional development and align team goals by offering mentorship, sharing company objectives, and guiding team members to build a high-performing and motivated team.
- Work closely with corporate actuarial, sales, and finance teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business goals and drive organizational success.
- Lead the identification of opportunities to improve or redesign existing pricing tools by collaborating with IT and other departments to address emerging challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage the creation of bancassurance proposals, ensuring the pricing models reflect value for money, fair revenue distribution, and profitability to create win-win solutions for customers, banks, and the company.
- Lead the renewal and structuring of reinsurance treaties, ensuring optimal terms by analyzing reinsurance rates, conducting profitability studies, and aligning treaty design with the company s risk appetite and capital efficiency objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 7 - 10 years of experience in actuarial pricing or related functions, such as reserving or valuation.
- Proven track record in structuring and leading projects within the actuarial domain.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and developing actuarial tools and models.
- Bachelor s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
