Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

L&D Strategy Development, Planning and/or Contribution

§ Support in designing, developing and the implementation of Learning and Development strategy and initiatives in line with the organization's goals and objectives.

§ Lead the delivery of new-joiners Induction program for frontliners and corporate employees.

§ Develop internal talents to enhance Learning and Development initiatives such as butchery & fishery schools and customer experience initiatives in coordination with stakeholders.

§ Organize, launch and monitor annual training calendar.

§ Develop and maintain Training Catalogue.

§ Plan and run monthly training activities based on training calendar for behavioural skills.

§ Create content for soft and behavioural skills based on TNA.

§ Support content development for E-modules and support in launching the LMS across the organization.

§ Support in developing and launching leadership school.

§ Conducted TTT for internal talents to enhance training delivery efficiency.

§ Ensure active collaboration with departments and oversee the identification of training needs for Mair employees.

§ Support the People development initiatives.

§ Increase the engagement level across the organization by arranging engagement initiatives related to Learning and development department.

Budgeting and Financial Performance

§ Support the consolidation of the People Development department budget and monitor training and development cost versus the budget to identify any variances.

§ Organize external training programs based on training requirements and negotiate best offers.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

§ Develop, Design Learning & Development policies and LMS systems.

§ Ensure awareness and alignment to the HR P&P compliance and the code of ethics for self and employees across the organization.

Reporting

§ Ensure that all department reports are prepared timely and accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

§ Bachelor’s degree in business Admin / Human Resources or equivalent from a recognized and accredited institute.

(CIPD/SHRM/ATD).

Experience:

§ 10+ years of professional experience in Human Resources and Learning and development in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

§ Comprehensive working experience of Training & Development in Grocery Retail companies.
