Roles & Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Provide program planning and leadership for the continual improvement of freestyle skiing programs for all ages. To teach, train and coach in the different programs of Ski Academy to provide the maximum quality standards

ROLE PROFILE

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee Freestyle programs, including training philosophy, seasonal goals, and skill progression across all age groups.
  • Support and manage coaches, conduct program assessments, provide athlete guidance, and utilize tools like video analysis for performance enhancement.
  • Collaborate with Global Snow departments for session planning, manage Freestyle events, equipment budgets, and safety standards.
  • Deliver high-quality private and group lessons for all skill levels, including individuals with special needs, ensuring top-tier customer service.
  • Upsell products and services, assist with bookings, and actively promote the Ski Academy to drive revenue.
  • Participate in and provide instructor training, maintain professional appearance, and ensure safety protocols are enforced.
  • Provide assistance to other departments when needed and take part in event committees, fundraising, and promotional activities.
  • Aim to meet targets like retention, conversion, and NPS scores; follow company policies on HSE, grooming, conduct, and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIREMENTS

  • High-qualified ski instructor; ISIA certification is a plus. Physically fit and capable of active instruction.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus) with excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong teaching and instructing abilities; high-level ski/snowboard freestyle experience is an advantage.
  • Team player with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-oriented with supervision skills and a proactive, activity-focused approach.
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities; flexible with working hours.
