Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a tooling methods technician, your objective will be to contribute to the performance of MRO maintenance activities by ensuring the availability of compliant tools and equipment for the workshop.
In this context you will be asked to:
- Providing support for daily production: usage problems, feedback, needs, maintenance and repairs of tools.
- Update the configuration of purchased tools: analyze changes, update the tools.
- Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on specific tools (CFM and LEAP).
- Ensure that the tools used by the operations are in good condition, properly calibrated and maintained within the production chain.
- avoid non-quality events linked to the use of uncalibrated or poorly calibrated tools.
- Manage the layout of the tool workshop.
- Ensure that the tools and equipment required by operations are available at the right time.
Knowledge:
- General mechanics and strength of materials.
- Action engine: module and component technology.
- Technical documentation for after-sales service.
- Regulatory requirements and quality procedures.
- Tool maintenance and calibration process.
Expertise:
- Use of SAP and software for tool management.
- Ability to analyze a need, consolidate and translate customer requirements (technical, HSE, cost) into functional specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple receptions and suppliers simultaneously.
- Ability to guarantee compliance in a timely manner.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile :
- Technician (Bac +2) in metrology or aeronautical maintenance.
- Spoken and written knowledge of technical English (level B1).
- Proactive, takes initiative, creative mind.
Behavioral skills:
- To work in an orderly and precise manner, with reliability and rigor.
- Ability to listen, facilitate, coordinate, synthesize and formalize.
- Good cross-functional relationships with industrialization methods, quality/HSE.
