Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesives for optimal adhesion and longevity.
  • Accurately measure and cut tiles using specialized tools to ensure precise fit and aesthetic appeal.
  • Expertly lay tiles in various patterns while maintaining consistent spacing and alignment to achieve a professional finish.
  • Grout and seal tiles post-installation to prevent moisture penetration and enhance durability, ensuring long-lasting results.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to select appropriate tile materials and designs that meet project specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in top condition, performing regular checks and repairs to ensure efficiency and safety on the job.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in tile setting preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in tile masonry or a similar construction field.
  • Certification in tile installation or related skills is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
  • Strong knowledge of various tile materials, adhesives, and grouting techniques.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions without compromising safety.
