Roles & Responsibilities
Join us as a Testing Engineer, playing a vital role in ensuring the electrical integrity, safety, and operational excellence of high-value projects essential to our clients' operations in Water & Power, Oil & Gas, and industrial facilities. What You'll Do
- Testing & Commissioning Execution: Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning of substation equipment including Transformers, 132kV GIS,33kV GIS Switchgear, 11kV AIS Switchgear, Capacitor Banks, NGRs, CT/PT, Protection Relays, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, Battery Chargers, 415V Switchgear, and conduct VLF testing for cables across SWRO and power plant facilities.
- Electrical Testing & Validation: Conduct insulation resistance testing, winding resistance, impedance test, switch gear earth test, CT polarity checks, SF6 CB test, PD test, relay testing, protection coordination checks, and system validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues in substations and associated equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Compliance & Safety Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international electrical standards, client requirements, ADNOC/DEWA/TAQA/ADDC regulations, and company safety policies throughout all testing activities.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports, commissioning documentation, technical procedures, and as-built records with accuracy and professionalism.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure integrated project delivery and successful handover.
