Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, highways, utilities, civil works, etc.).
  • Review tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial terms to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Develop cost estimates, pricing strategies, and bid proposals in coordination with engineering, procurement, contracts, and finance teams.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers during the bidding process to clarify requirements and obtain competitive offers.
  • Identify project risks, evaluate contractual terms, and ensure alignment with company policies and risk management procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial submissions, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of proposals.
  • Track and analyze upcoming tenders, maintain market intelligence, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships to maximize business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic advice to management on competitive positioning, market trends, and business development in the infrastructure sector.
  • Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with all tendering policies and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the tendering team, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.
