Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technology GRMS Specialist to oversee the functionality, performance, and implementation of our Guest Room Management System (GRMS). This role is critical in ensuring seamless operation of smart room technologies, enhancing guest comfort, energy efficiency, and automation across our properties. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between hotel operations and smart room control systems, ensuring optimal performance while supporting backend efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Lead the study, design, and deployment of GRMS projects across KSA and Egypt, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop technical submittals, design documents, system specifications, and detailed drawings for GRMS solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, architects, consultants, and clients to align system designs with operational needs.
  • Site Surveys & Feasibility: Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of proposed GRMS solutions.
  • Cost Estimation & Proposals: Prepare accurate cost estimates, project proposals, and ROI analyses for new implementations.
  • System Optimization: Monitor and enhance GRMS performance, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and other smart room controls.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support for GRMS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum guest satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 0-1 year of experience in hotel operations, room automation systems, or GRMS platforms (fresh graduates with relevant training are encouraged to apply).
    • Familiarity with GRMS solutions (e.g., Interel, Honeywell, Schneider, INNCOM, or similar).
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of HVAC systems, IoT-based room controls, and energy management systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

  • Certifications in building automation, HVAC controls, or smart room technologies.
  • Exposure to hotel property management systems (PMS) and IoT integrations.

Knowledge of energy efficiency standards (e.g., LEED, ESTIDAMA).
