Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Calibrate and configure technical systems according to manufacturer specifications to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Document all service activities and maintenance records meticulously for compliance and future reference.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on complex projects, providing insights based on hands-on experience.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests promptly, diagnosing issues effectively to restore functionality.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults in machinery and implement corrective actions swiftly.
  • Train junior technicians and apprentices, sharing knowledge to enhance team capabilities and service quality.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Perform inventory management of tools and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for maintenance tasks.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations, integrating new technologies to improve service delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering technology or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technician role within the specific industry sector.
  • Certifications in specialized areas such as HVAC, electronics, or automotive repair are highly advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems with a systematic approach.
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages may be a plus depending on the region.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in collaborative settings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
