TECHNICIAN, I-C MAINTENANCE & ANALYZER

Job Specific Accountabilities but not limited to
Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools and testing equipment, including digital voltmeters, recorders, meggers, pneumatic calibrators etc.
Perform skilled work related to the installation, servicing, calibration, repair and testing of control instrumentation, including control valves, pressure, temperature and level controllers and electronic, pneumatic or liquid-filled flow meters.
Calibration of sophisticated pneumatic and electronic control instrumentation of any type
Assist in complex trip test functions requiring thorough knowledge of trip sequences, process fault finding etc.
Carry out all work in strict adherence to Company's Standards, Codes and Practices and work permit procedures
Select and use the correct tools, maintenance and test equipment for specific jobs, such as pneumatic and hand tools, measurement and testing equipment etc.
Ensure proper housekeeping in Plant areas, assist in preparing data sheets showing work completed etc.
Identify, select and ensure the correct application of spare parts and materials such as electrical, sub miniature, hydraulic parts, mechanical parts etc. requiring a good working knowledge of the material management system
Coordinate with other Technicians from other disciplines to ensure proper maintenance and to resolve process and instrument related problems
Provide job direction and instructions to fitters and helpers for assigned tasks
Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, Quality standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.
Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.
Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.
Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability
Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.
