Technical Writer ProgressSoft

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of ProgressSoft s products and services. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to understand software specifications, business workflows, and functionalities to produce comprehensive business documents and end-user manuals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and technical teams to gain a deep understanding of ProgressSoft s product requirements and workflows.
• Produce high-quality documentation in both Arabic and English that meets company standards and is tailored to the target audience.
• Develop and maintain user manuals, FAQs, step-by-step guides, and training materials.
• Proofread technical and business documents prior to delivery to ProgressSoft s clients.
• Translate business and technical documents (from Arabic to English and vice versa), ensuring clarity and structure for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain version control and ensure consistency across all documentation.
• Review and regularly update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or any related fields.
• 1 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent command of both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Good team player and committed to timelines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing skills with proven experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io)
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Product)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience in the payments domain is a plus.
