Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate mechanical shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues and optimize design solutions.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for mechanical works.
  • Review and interpret project contracts, specifications, and design documents to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements.
  • Monitor and track project progress, reporting on technical office activities and ensuring timely delivery of documentation.
  • Provide technical support to site teams during installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical data, quotations, and compliance documents.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize mechanical systems and reduce project costs.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is properly archived and maintained for future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

1 5 years of experience in a Technical Office / Mechanical Engineering role, preferably in construction or MEP projects.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and MS Office.

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
