Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project requirements.
- Conduct quantity surveying and prepare detailed bill of quantities (BOQ) for various project phases.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular technical reports to management, highlighting any discrepancies or potential risks.
- Review and interpret project contracts, specifications, and design documents to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Support procurement activities by preparing material take-offs and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to enhance project efficiency.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurately maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site teams to resolve construction challenges and ensure quality standards are met.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a technical office engineering role within the construction industry.
