Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Technical - Mechanical Engineer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Very good command of spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to Mechanical engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD/REVIT.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical design, develop CAD models using SolidWorks, and create engineering drawings for structural components.
  • Design and package HVAC components to meet system and vehicle requirements, considering factors such as efficiency, cost, weight, manufacturability, and serviceability.
  • Apply working knowledge of HVAC systems, including compressors and HVAC units.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering design and performance specifications by specifying direct modifications to products.
  • Apply engineering principles to effectively maintain mechanical products, equipment systems, and processes.
  • Develop test models for alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility and determine the need for modifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers from other groups to integrate components and electromechanical systems.
  • Prepare drawings and material submittals in accordance with project specifications and industry standards, submitted by contractors and in-house teams.
