Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
  • Oversee and manage civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges, provide solutions, and facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and control costs related to civil and MEP works.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address any delays or deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards related to civil and MEP works.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil and MEP engineering.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and MEP engineering, with a focus on building construction.
  • Demonstrates proven experience in managing and overseeing civil and MEP works for large-scale projects.
  • Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and analysis software.
  • Exhibits strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
