Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for event layouts, structures, and installations using CAD software.
- Collaborate with event designers, project managers, and production teams to translate creative concepts into precise technical documentation.
- Ensure all technical drawings comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and on-site observations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to communicate technical specifications and resolve design-related queries.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical drawings and revisions.
- Support the planning and execution phases by providing technical input and troubleshooting design challenges.
- Conduct site assessments remotely through digital tools and available resources to ensure feasibility of proposed designs.
- Assist in the estimation of materials, costs, and timelines based on technical drawings.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in technical drawing, CAD, and event production.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- 2-5 years of experience in technical drawing, drafting, or CAD design, preferably within events, architecture, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience preparing technical documentation for event layouts, structures, or installations.
- Ability to interpret creative concepts and translate them into technical plans.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
