Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and statutory filings in accordance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations.

Tax Accounting & Provisions:
Prepare and review tax calculations, provisions, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for financial closings. Ensure all tax liabilities and contingencies are properly recorded.

Transfer Pricing:
Collaborate with external tax consultants to prepare and submit local and master transfer pricing documentation. Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and internal policies.

Group & Regional Reporting:
Compile and submit tax-related reports required by the Regional and Group Finance teams. Maintain accurate documentation and working papers to support audits and group tax reviews.

Tax Authority Relations:
Manage communications with tax authorities, consultants, and auditors. Address inquiries, resolve disputes, and handle complex tax matters while keeping the CFO and Group Tax Team informed.

Audit & Inspection Management:
Lead and close tax audits and inspections in coordination with legal and consulting teams. Defend the company s tax positions and mitigate potential risks.

Data Coordination:
Collect, validate, and consolidate tax data from various departments to support inspections and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Risk Management & Process Improvement:
Evaluate business processes to identify tax risks and control gaps. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance compliance and support business growth.

Internal Support & Training:
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on tax-related matters. Promote tax awareness and foster a culture of compliance across departments.

Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and accessible tax records and documentation to support future audits and inspections.

Regulatory Monitoring:
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations. Assess their impact on the business and propose strategies to ensure ongoing compliance.

Government Incentives:
Identify and support the application for government grants and tax incentives. Ensure compliance with all related requirements to maximize financial benefits.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree or above of related studies.

9:12 years working experience.

Excellent English both spoken and written.

V. Good MS Office, familiar with Oracle or SAP.

International accounting or tax firm working experience or outstanding ability is preferred.

Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS Accounting and Tax Planning, Tax Law & Compliance, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, Tax Codes, Custom duty and Government Subsidies.

Strong experience in managing tax audits and compliance processes.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with teams across various functions and culture within Local, Regional and HQ.
