Wood is currently recruiting for TAR Operations Lead X 2 to join its Singapore business unit focusing on ensuring cross functional engagement in TAR, VRP, TRP Operational related preparations for a major onshore brownfield project in Basra, Iraq on a 50% rotational role.
This is a full-time onsite position in Basra, Iraq, with travel requirement.

The TAR Operations Lead is a role within the company M&E team reporting to the Turnaround, Vessel Remediation and Tank Remediation Manager in the Maintenance & Engineering Function.
The incumbent will be responsible for interface of all Operational related activities for Turnaround (TAR), Vessel Remediation (VRP), Tank Remediation (TRP) programs of work and ensuring safe and reliable compliance with Values and Standards.
Key Accountabilities
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Champion the nationalization program by identifying & mentoring Iraqi nationals
• Help to advance local contractors to improve technical & working practices.
• Interface for TAR, VRP, TRP Operations related activities
• Input to planning and scheduling of TAR, VRP, TRP Operations related activities
• Ensure cross functional engagement in TAR, VRP, TRP Operational related preparations
• Logistics and material coordination for Operations related TAR, VRP, TRP activities
• Interface for TAR, VRP, TRP Nitrogen Leak Testing activities between Leak Test contractor and Operations Department
• Review leak test work packs
• Define contractor resource, plant, equipment requirements for TAR, VRP, TRP Operations related activities
• Review of Operational related Cost Time Resource (CTR) submissions
• Input to Lessons Learned for TAR, VRP, TRP Operations related activities
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders
• Capturing non-conformance performance and improvement plans with local contractors
• Completions & Closeout management

Expected:
• Relevant Process Operator Training qualification
Essential experience and job requirements
• Extensive and relevant Oil and Gas industry experience in Operations and Maintenance environment.
• At least 15 years industry experience with 5 years in International multicultural Operational roles across the full value chain of hydrocarbon and water production facilities.
• Experience of reinstatement of plant following maintenance, including leak testing and purging.
• Experience in most world environments is preferred.

• Ability to develop others and foster diverse relationships in a multicultural environment
