Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of tailors and upholsterers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee and manage the tailoring and upholstery workshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production.
- Analyze work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine required materials, tools, and processes for projects.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the highest standards and client expectations.
- Manage inventory of fabrics, materials, and supplies, and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Estimate project costs, including labor and materials, and prepare accurate quotations for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tailoring and upholstery, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their needs and translate them into tangible products.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures, ensuring consistency and excellence in all work.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in tailoring and upholstery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Has a strong understanding of different fabrics, materials, and their properties and applications.
- Is Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written (preferred).
