Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate tack welding machines used in longitudinal welded steel pipe production.
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust the machine parameters according to production specifications.
- Monitor the pipe alignment and ensure proper tack welds before final welding operations.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on tack welding machines to avoid downtime.
- Identify and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Follow production schedules, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Work closely with welding engineers, quality inspectors, and production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production output, and any incidents.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or technical certification (welding or mechanical background preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating welding machines in a steel fabrication or pipe manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with tack welding processes and machine operations.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production instructions.
- Strong focus on safety and quality standards.
- Physically fit to handle factory working conditions and long shifts.
- Team player with good communication skills and discipline.
- Willingness to work in Dammam Industrial City with flexibility for shift work and overtime.
