A role focused on administering and maintaining Microsoft's SCCM platform to manage software, hardware, updates, and operating systems across an organization's network. Key responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining the SCCM infrastructure, planning and executing software and patch deployments, enforcing compliance policies, and ensuring the health and security of the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• SCCM Infrastructure Management:

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain the SCCM infrastructure, including servers, clients, and distribution points.

• Software & Patch Deployment:

Plan, schedule, and execute the deployment of software, operating systems (OSD), and security patches to all managed devices.

• Compliance & Security:

Define and enforce compliance policies for devices, monitor compliance status, and take corrective actions to reduce risks.

• Reporting & Monitoring:

Provide reports on patching activity, software deployment status, and the health of the SCCM environment.

• Technical Support & Documentation:

Offer technical guidance to the SCCM team and customers, and assist in creating and updating SCCM documentation.

• Research & Optimization:

Stay updated on new technologies and applications to integrate them into the SCCM system and continuously optimize the environment.

• Project Management:

Manage SCCM projects, delegate tasks, and collaborate with other IT teams to align SCCM capabilities with business needs.
