Surface Treatment Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Treatment Technician is expected to perform manual / chemical cleaning of components as per defined process requirement & perform preparation of parts for the next sequences such as Paint, Non-Destructive Testing etc.
• Perform racking, masking & cleaning of parts as per defined documents & internal procedures
• operating the transporter & loading the parts on automated chemical line
• perform the chemical processing activities as per shop floor plan & support to urgent deliveries
• fixture set up & cleaning of fixtures
• Management of technical and control procedures for surface treatment of materials.
• Maintaining and keeping the relevant technical documentation.
• Improving product quality and production efficiency.
• cleaning of the processing tanks ,moving the parts between the work center, chemical handling & movement
• perform associated production & admin work
• adherence to shop floor safety, health & environmental policy & housekeeping practices
• Proactively communicate and address safety concerns.
• perform basic preventive maintenance of plant equipment s
• identify & escalate quality & non-conformance
• participation & positive contribution on audits of certification body
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Diploma In Mechanical/Production/Chemical Engineering Or Vocational/ Industrial Training Certificate or Equivalent
• Prior experience with Surface Treatment Process Facility is desirable
• Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas is desirable
• Experience Inspecting and Verifying parts
• Ability to use Quality Inspection Tools
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2 Years Of Industrial Experience In Manufacturing Environment in the aerospace, automotive, or any other highly regulated industry
