Job Description

The Supply Chain Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization's supply chain operations. This pivotal position requires a strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills to oversee supply chain staff and activities, ensuring a seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all stages of the supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and transportation. This position demands a proactive individual who can troubleshoot supply chain issues promptly and implement strategic improvements for enhanced performance. Insightful decision-making and strong communication skills are essential, as the Supply Chain Supervisor will work closely with various departments to meet business objectives and customer demands.


Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee the supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistical partners.
  • Supervise supply chain staff and provide leadership and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and inventory to meet production needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast demand accurately.
  • Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and work to mitigate potential risks and disruptions.
  • Prepare and present supply chain performance reports to senior management.
  • Monitor budgets and costs related to supply chain operations and logistics.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for the role.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities are a must.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
