Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate ship repair or construction activities on-site.
Assign tasks to shipwrights and ensure timely completion of work.
Monitor work quality and adherence to safety standards.
Inspect ships and components to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Liaise with clients and management regarding project progress and issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or vocational diploma in a relevant trade (e.g., Marine, Shipbuilding, Mechanical, or Electrical).
Experience in ship repair or within a shipyard environment is a must.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in shipwright or similar trade.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in ship repair.
